COVID-19 Protocols
Pre-screening for COVID-19 prior to your visit via call, text or email and again, once you arrive at the office.
We encourage patients to arrange appointments over the phone and by email. We ask that patients do not come to the office to book appointments.
- Magazines and toys have been removed from the waiting room.
- As required by the province, you MUST wear a mask at all times while you are in the clinic until you are directed to remove your mask once you are in the dental chair.
- We ask that you come to your appointment alone; however, 1 parent/caregiver may accompany a child.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided when you arrive.
- We are limiting the number of patients in the office at one time.
- All common areas are cleaned and sanitized frequently throughout the day.
- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn by clinical and reception staff.
- All staff are screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms.
- There are enhanced operatory disinfection procedures of all surfaces between patients.
- Between patients, the room is cleaned and disinfected, and surface barriers are replaced.
- High touch surfaces throughout the office are wiped down regularly.
- During treatment, our team strictly follows the guidelines set out by the PDBNS, the NSDA, the Nova Scotia Health Authority and Public Health.
